RSA training applies to:
All levels of sales personnel involved in the sale, service and promotional service of alcohol in licensed premises. Those selling or serving alcohol may include food and beverage attendants; packaged liquor sales persons selling in person, over the phone or online; winery, brewery and distillery cellar door staff; and supplier sales representatives. The unit also applies to security staff who monitor customer behaviour and to the licensee who is ultimately responsible for responsible service of alcohol (RSA) management. RSA training also applies to volunteers and other promotional staff.

- The legislative framework for the responsible service of alcohol.

- Strategies to prevent intoxication and under-age drinking.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
- There are no formal prerequisite academic or work experience requirements for this course; however you must demonstrate sufficient Language, Literacy and Numeracy skills to be able to successfully complete the training. You need to be skills tested prior to commencing course content. You must either come into one of our campuses and sit the skills test or receive and complete it by booking online or calling us to send you an online booking link. You can not conduct skills testing on the day of training and will not be admitted to training unless this has been completed on a day prior.
- Must be at least 15 years of age to do the training. Until you turn 18 however, you are not allowed to sell, serve or supply alcohol on a licensed premises.
- You need to provide us with photo identification at enrolment and prior to commencing your training. This can include a Drivers Licence, NSW Photo Card or Proof of Age Card or a Passport.
UPON SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION THE STUDENT WILL RECEIVE
- A nationally recognised Statement of Attainment in SITHFAB021 Provide Responsible Service of Alcohol.
- Liquor and Gaming NSW Interim Certificate. The Interim Certificate is used at a Service NSW Centre to obtain your Photo Competency Card.
COURSE DURATION
- 6.5 hours including admin, training & lunch break.
EQUIPMENT AND MATERIAL
All students will be provided with any required equipment and materials, including Student Course Notes.

Granville Office: Every Thursday 9:00am to 3:30pm. Please refer to booking calendar for available dates
Liverpool Office: Every Saturday 9:00am to 3:30pm. Please refer to booking calendar for available dates
- Please note Star Training does not have dedicated parking. It is suggested you take public transport for the day as we are only 2 minutes walk from the Granville train station. If you drive you will need to find a local paid parking solution.
