This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to infants, children and adults. It applies to educators and support staff working within an education and care setting who are required to respond to a first aid emergency, including asthmatic and anaphylactic emergencies.
These new programs will be offered later in 2020, as they are still under development and details will be provided in coming weeks. The new qualifications which will be offered include:
These qualifications will be for existing NSW Security Licence holders or those who have completed the new CPP20218 Certificate II in Security Operations, who wish to work in roles including:
Details will be posted on the website once the programs have been fully developed, including course structure and pricing and commencement dates. A new requirement for these programs will be the need to complete HLTAID006 Provide advanced first aid. You can complete this prior to the new course being announced and you will be given credit for it once you commence.
